National Children’s Health and Development Medical Center of Japan Visits Harmonicare for Exchange

On August 3, 2018, Mr. Akihiro Umezawa, Deputy Director of the National Children’s Health and Development Medical Center of Japan, Mr. LI Xiaokang, MD, Mr. WANG Qing, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Xinneng Industry Co., Ltd. (Japan), and Mr. LIU Yujin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DNC Corporation (Japan) visited Harmonicare Medical Beijing headquarters and also visited Beijing Harmonicare Women and Children Hospital, a member of Harmonicare Medical. Mr. LIN Yuming, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Harmonicare Medical, held a cordial meeting with Deputy Director Akihiro Umezawa, and both parties conducted in-depth communication on future cooperation and looked forward to the further strategic cooperation.

It is reported that the National Children’s Health and Development Medical Center of Japan was established in 2002. Integrated with the institute, the Center develops and provides high-level and sophisticated medical services and takes a leading position in Japan’s adult health care industry. It boasts superior technology in treatment of children’s neuroblastoma, premature infants’ retina, retinal detachment, congenital cataract, glaucoma, retinoblastoma and other children’s ophthalmic diseases, x plastic surgery for microtia and living donor liver transplantation, etc. Located in Tokyo Prefecture, the hospital is seated in Setagaya Area and is world-famous for its expertise in treating children with intractable diseases. The Center’s number and cure rate of liver transplantation cases are among the highest in the world.

During the meeting, the two sides conducted friendly communication and exchanges with regard to their respective advantages, the current development status of the infants’ and children’s medical industry as well as the opportunities for cooperation between China and Japan in the health industry. Chairman LIN Yuming said, “This communication has enabled Harmonicare to have a deep understanding of the advanced medical treatment model and medical treatment concept in Japan, and has also laid a good foundation for Harmonicare’s more international cooperation. He hopes that both parties can carry out more and deeper connections and exchanges in the future”.
